Minerva Valley Telephone Co., Inc. believes in the growth and continued education of our young people.  Because of this belief, one $500 college scholarship will be awarded to a qualified high school graduating senior who will be attending either a two or four-year accredited college or an accredited vocational school.

To be eligible, applicants must be students in either the Colo Nesco or West Marshall school district and must live in either the Zearing (487) or Clemons/St. Anthony (477) telephone exchanges.   In addition, the applicant’s family must have had Minerva Valley Telephone service on or before September 1, 2010 and currently be a subscriber.

Students may pick up an application at their high school Guidance Counselor’s office or at the Minerva Valley Telephone business office.  Applications can also be found online at www.minervavalley.com under the “events” section.  Applications are due back to Minerva Valley Telephone Co.; 104 N Pine St.; Zearing, IA 50278 by 5:00 p.m. on May17, 2011.  Please contact us at 641-487-7399 or minerva@netins.net if you have questions or would like more information.
